One Room/Tebt with a double bed costs 20 Euros each night, which is pricy for this region. Nevertheless it could be worth it, because the location is really great: Pool, Bar and a chill athmosphere. Unfortunately we didn’t have flowing water for 2 days in a row, which could happen and is not really a problem if you get a compensation for this (not much just a tiny excuse for the time you had to wait). This didn’t happen, which is sad. The hostel really is far away from the Pai Centre but therefore they offer you a taxi, but this free taxi only drives till 5 p.m., so you’ll have to walk in the evening. The toilets are cleaned every morning, but the rooms only if you check out, so after 5 days of staying there your room will be at least a bit dirty. The towel I paid 120 TBH(100TBH deposit) is not really a good towel and it smells fast, cuz the quality isn’t good. Overall a nice location, but the service could improve in some aspects.

This stay was interesting for me. The view from the pool was amazing, but that’s where it ended for me. Unfortunately, my private room had mold growing on the ceiling, which caused my personal items to grow mold on them. Thankfully, the hostel took responsibility and cleaned my items as well as moved me to another room that was air-conditioned to help with the humidity. I would definitely stay here again, I would just stay in an air-conditioned room due to the intense humidity in the jungle!

This was one the best hostels I’ve stayed at travelling South East Asia! Volunteers Harry and McKinley made the stay very warm and welcoming. They set up a fun trivia night for everyone at the hostel. They showed us around the town and even took us to their favourite restaurants. I would highly recommend staying here! Scotty

My favorite hostel I stayed at in Pai. Great pool area with a view overlooking the picturesque mountain town. I stayed in a private a-frame cabin and it was divine. I’ll definitely be back.

I loved this hostel, great view, great pool, great rooms . Especially the the english girls, Rachel and Georgia helped me out so much. They created a real cool vibe and helped me out with a lot . Coming back forsure

Would not recommend if your disabled/neurodivergent. I stayed here as a solo traveller and was discriminated against by a group of the female kitchen and cleaning staff, they did not understand what tourettes was and would all stare at me, laugh and gossip about me. I brought this up to another group of younger females who were sitting in the lobby at the time and asked them if they were staff as they were sitting on the staff table. They lied to me and typed on google translate that “they didnt work there” cause they saw an issue was happening and wanted avoid any conversation about this, which is outright disgusting. After this i had a nicer male reception who offered to make amends through a free stay & this was a kind gesture however being discriminated against for a disability in a venue is a huge turn off and will make you only want to leave. Its a shame as the hostel has a beautiful ambience but the staff actions reflect very poorly and have made it a hugely unwelcoming space for those with disabilities. Id recommend supporting a more welcoming and inclusive business as a backpacker. They are avoidant too as ive sent an email with no reply from management which further reflects badly on this business.

Had a great time at Circus Hostel. Very close to town with free shuttles. Chill environment with a great pool and view. The volunteers, Harry and McKinley, organized some social events and were a lot of fun. Would recommend this hostel.

I was desperate to like and enjoy the Pai Circus hostel, however it failed to deliver. The hostel is a solid 20 minute walk, up and down several hills and across a bridge, I would recommend hiring a scooter to tackle such a walk. Upon arrival staff greeted us and showed us a brief walk around. Our room was a bland triangle shape, horrid flooring and a fan. We were situated in K dorms, so far back that no Wi-Fi got to the room, however the neighbour hostel solid Wi-Fi from there. Every morning we were woken by banging, drilling and sawing due to the expansion work currently going on there. The food and drink provided in the small kitchen was overpriced, with no facilities such as a toaster, kettle or microwave. Alcohol was also more expensive from the bar than it is from the many options in town. The only redeeming quality I found was that the toilets showers were clean and the view was fantastic.
